In this short series, you’ll get to meet each of our board members.

Listen to their stories and backgrounds, and why they chose to serve on the board and support the work at Broken to Beloved.

This week, I talk with teacher and author Laura Barringer about her “real” work with Kindergartners, her path to becoming a reluctant author, and how that writing has changed her life today.

Quotes 💬

We ultimately wanted to write something redemptive. We didn’t want to just point out the problem, but we wanted to point churches and people towards a better way.

We’ve heard a lot of really dark stories since Tov was published the last four years and but that’s always where I find hope is because tov, that little Hebrew word means good, and God is completely good.

For everything you just said about why Broken to Beloved exists, it’s where I find goodness and hope, like I was talking about earlier with who God is. God is good. And I feel like that’s the message that broken to beloved shares that here are some resources to help you heal.
